I get asked about Louie Date/Location codes a lot so heres a list. A date code should always be in the formats listed above with the letters listed only, with the exception of Louies made by the French Luggage Company/Pre 80s. FLC bags have tags that are Yellowish Brown inside the bag, although most French luggage company bags are so old that they no longer have this tag. If you need help authenticating a FLC/Pre 80s bag, please ask me. I know my Louies.

makeupluv16 For the most part Reps very rarely get the datecode/location code correct so that is a sure indicator of Authenticity. LV is meticulous wth every single stitch on all of their products, if you see sloppy stitching, thats another indicator.

makeupluv16 @saulpayan not sure if you know about pricing FLC bags, some tend to not sell for as much, I've sold 100s of them, you prob won't get anymore than 300$ out of it. You'd think vintage would go for a bit more, but not the case with a lot of the FLC bags, I have one on my page now that's in immaculate condition priced at 250$ and it's been there forever🙁
