Lot of Four (4) Vintage Nature Magazines 1936 Good vintage condition. May have frayed/torn pages, missing covers, discolorations, marks, split bindings. In expected condition for ephemera items of this vintage. Color covers, B&W articles. American Nature Association published Nature Magazine from 1923 to 1959. Founded by Arthur Newton Pack & his father, Charles. Nature Magazine was an "illustrated monthly w/ popular articles about nature" and the "interpreter of the great outdoors." A May 1924 review of the organization & its magazine, written by Carroll Lane Fenton & published in American Midland Naturalist called the magazine "excellent" w/ "abundant pictures, admirably printed"; and said it was a "highly worthwhile publication" that deserves a wide circulation among town and school libraries.
