Looking for someone to compare notes with. I’ve been reselling for years. First year as a full time job. Love to talk about posh. I’m not a Facebook or instagram person. Like last month my sales were down. Love to see if anyone else’s sales were down. I had low sales for two weeks after Easter, which would be normal? I’m making sales. I’ll sell around an average of $100 a day between all selling platforms. Love to talk about what you hear is a good seller or treads. I think my family getting tired of me talking about my job to them. 🤣

mrsjacy I did Poshmark for several years until I couldn’t anymore. I went through the same thing of friends and family tiring of hearing my sagas from the great deals I found to resell to that annoying customer!!! I feel your pain sister!!$

mrsjacy @abatts right!!! Your photos and descriptions are way above par!!! Your listings are much like mine used to be. I liked to make the buyer feel like they couldn’t do without what I was selling and I liked to visualize for the buyer every aspect of my product. You’re truly doing everything right!!! Your prices are great as well.

mrsjacy @abatts I’m in FL and I know that here, all of the snowbirds leave to go back to their homes up north right after Easter. That disrupts the economy here until January. I’m not sure how things are in other parts of the US are except for it probably being similar in AZ for the same reason.

abatts @mrsjacy Oh I never thought about the people going back home from FL. I’m in NC. We kind of stay put. Weather not as bad. I’m originally from NJ. But have been in NC for 30 years. Never going back North. I like it here too good.

abatts @mrsjacy I’ve been to Florida some. I could definitely live there. I had a great grandma that move there and a great aunt. I’ve been 8 times I think. Love the coast feel love the water activities.

mrsjacy @abatts we used to live on the gulf coast until 1 too many hurricanes hit and we lost everything. That was 2 years ago almost and we’re still not completely back on our feet. We are however in a nice home in central Florida thanks to a veterans organization that really stepped up and helped us!!!

abatts @mrsjacy oh that’s great you got help. We’ve had some bad hurricanes here. So much flooding. Tons of houses were lost. We have stayed safe. But I don’t like hurricane season. We’ve lost power for weeks. My house got mold for a year because it absorbed so much moisture from the power being out and so much rain. We need to get a whole house generator. Just haven’t done it. It’s lots of money for something that will sit unused 99% of the time.

abatts You have a coach hang tag for sale. I do well selling those. Love your fire king Jadite plates. Years ago my grandparents had a set of they wouldn’t give them to me. They promised them to my grandmothers aunt. Not sure if they ever made it to her. I wanted them because those were the dishes we ate on at their small beach house at Cape May Beach in NJ. I also was just newly married and would have loved to use them as my dishes.

saraadrian @abatts hi my sales are a little slow. I love the plates the color is amazing. I see you have a cat. I like cats but I am allergic. I have 5 dogs all non shedding. 3 Yorkies 2 mini poodles. My kids are grown so my dogs are like my kids.

abatts @saraadrian Ya. One kitty that now stays inside cause he now scared to go outside. Go figure. One outside cat. The only dog we had was a weiner dog when my kids were young. Boy I loved that dog. He was my best friend. I like smaller dogs. Lap dogs. Ya my kids are grown and moved out. Got two grand kids “boys” Ya sales are super slow. I just keep listing. Hoping at back to school time all the work I did now will pay off.

abatts Seems I’m only selling summer related items now - crocs. I sold nine pairs of crocs just this month. Sunglass cases, pair of shorts. Seems hey dudes not as hot or popular as they once were. I might lower my prices on them and move to another selling platform. I like to keep prices high on posh. Once you sell one lower everyone wants it for that price.

abatts Do you sell on posh part time or is it your full time job. Reselling is my new as of this year full time job. I work at a thrift store part time 3-4 days a week for free and get stuff to sell for free in exchange for working.

abatts I did work part time for years “20” as a secretary, did retirement accounts, insurance and was a personal assistant to my boss. I’ve always sold as part-time income. You know cover Christmas presents and the extras in life.
