Hey man, I have the G9x Laser. I actually got it from a Logitech Executive my father did some work for over 15 years ago. I have intimate knowledge of their innerds and have cracked this baby open at least 3 separate times to repair switches and mouse wheels, and then 2 more times to replace the USB cable. If you have any broken ones with the infamous double clicking or something, I'd love to talk to you about attempting repairs or just picking them up off you.
As far as this one, I'm tempted.

@zak_ary hey Zak, I would love to connect that is so awesome, I have had an orgiinal i think i got it in 2004 it was just G9 or what not and it still works, they are just very found to my heart, and I think i do have a couple you could work on, and I would love to learn also b/c i have tried to replace the cable on one b/c it crimped up and looked messed up but i had no luck so, let me see if I can find my spare box of the extras, i remembe I def had one that did not dlick properly,

The cables are one of the easiest things to switch out, and braided nylon ones are available still on amazon even. The switches can get a bit tricky, but they arent impossible - it just depends on how bad of a case and whether they need to be replaced entirely, pulling the entire PCB out of the housing is a pain because of the way they have the mouse wheel attached as a brace and stuff though.
Depending on what is wrong with them would determine if they are salvageable, cables are no problemtho
