I believe it may have to have a special mouse that goes with it, in order for it to be able to switch. A regular mouse will work with it also. It’s going to take somebody that knows what it is, in order to make it work the way its design to work. Of course it will operate like a regular keyboard on its own just fine, that’s the way I was using it. It’s sleek and a great design of keys. I’m just happy with the old clicky keyboards that have a wire attached LOL!
