Rare and Retired Lladro Obstetrician With Newborn Baby This eye catching piece is titled, "Obstetrician" and was issued in 1971 and retired in 1990. The Sculptor is Salvador Furio and the detail he gave this piece is stunning. This piece depicts a Doctor who just stood up from delivering a newborn baby. The Doctor's delivery stool is still at his feet. It is a very expressive piece from the hair on the top of the Doctor's head to the details of his shoes and the delivery room's tile floor Salvador Furio didn't miss a thing. Even the ties on the back of the Doctor's lab coat and the pleats on the back of his shirt are evident. This piece is approximately 14.5"H x 5"W x 4"L and clearly stamped with the Lladro trademark.
