Hey guys! If you’re anything like me, you’re here on Poshmark for the community and of course to get more sales! 🤑🤑 One thing that I’ve been learning recently is that whenever you are consistently listing and sharing out your new listings, thst promotes your listings within the Poshmark algorithm. With this challenge, we can keep each other accountable and share/like each other’s listings. Also everyone gets featured f every day!! Rules for the challenge: • Let us know whenever you list new items (2-4 a day) • like and share others who have listed items that day • always be kind and helpful!! 🩵 • you don’t have to list everyday but if you list, please comment here and share/like everyone else “just in” listings for the day! • if anyone is looking for something specific, comment and ask here first! trndyclssyfunky Can I get someone to test something in my closet? where my listings are, use the filter tool filter on brand and look for anything Orvis or Corral. When I do it nothing in my closet comes up. when I report it, they always tell me that it’s my phone. But I don’t think so because if I use the search and type in Orvis or corral, it finds it. And when you go into the listing where the brand is the hyperlink to see all Orvis or Corral on PM the link works so it’s something with their software.

trndyclssyfunky @dani_posh1 thank you💕 just another thing broken. I reported about five of them two years ago. The only thing I got back was “we’re reviewing your request” and since then I’ve been getting “I’m sorry we haven’t gotten to you yet” every week for 2 years. 🤦‍♀️

trndyclssyfunky @mgm1933 when it happened the last I noticed, even my “copy” listing did the same. You should randomly check some in your closet periodically. I can’t be the only one with an issue. I found the Orvis one due to searching to use in a party and the Corral one just this morning as I wanted to move to top of closet

bigolewoman @trndyclssyfunky Can you just try to do a new (NOT copy) duplicate listing and not delete the old one? You'll have to remember to delete the duplicate if it sells. Weird. Also I have found that if I use the purchase or report security options when contacting Posh, I am more likely to hear back from an actual human.

arielandaurora Liked ❤️ and shared for yesterday. Relisted 1 pair of jeans. Got distracted yesterday trying to relist the other pair of jeans in my closet. Both pairs are the same so I when I listed them originally, I created 1 listing and then copied it. Worked fine when I originally listed them. Now one of the listings (not sure it it’s the original or the copy) will NOT relist. 😩 I’ve tried, waited another 60+ days, tried again, waited. I’m going to have to redo that listing. So frustrating!!

trndyclssyfunky @bigolewoman I had to share this! I got an answer back from PM CS. Their answer was “Orvis & Corral” aren’t authorized brands. 🤦‍♀️ total BS. No one even checked it out. I sent a scathing response. Not that they care

bentleyl83 @trndyclssyfunky definitely seems there filter is broke. When I type ORVIS in the magnifying glass, the brand pops up and after I click the brand your pants are filtered. I’m wondering if it’s because of this new update they are doing. It doesn’t excuse the lack of support from posh.

trndyclssyfunky @bentleyl83 it’s been like that for months. I just discovered my Corral boots have same issue so reported it. Didn’t help, they told me neither of the brands are PM identified 🤦‍♀️Orvis is even a Brand Posh Party “brand”

trndyclssyfunky Does anyone understand this: Thank you for your response and apologies for any oversight on my part. After reviewing the amount of brands in your closet, it appears that 300 brands are currently listed on the Brands list. To clarify, this will affect additional brands appearing on the Brands list for your closet. However please rest assured, potential buyers can still locate your Orvis and Corral listings by doing a general search for either of the brands.

bigolewoman I am still testing a theory, but I think listing a more expensive item as your first item on a listing reward week (like the one starting on Sunday) helps you win something more than an app icon. I have noticed that the second item I list normally gets more automatic shares so I list my cheaper or repeat brand first. I am going to stop doing this on the listing reward weeks like the one coming up:) Pay attention and help me test the theory if you remember:) @trndyclssyfunky @bentleyl83

Of course, this is their coding so they could increase it. @bigolewoman That’s interesting. 🤔 Now that I’m trying to get back into listing I will try to pay attention to that.

trndyclssyfunky @arielandaurora why would you limit the number of brands that someone can have in their closet just because of a drop-down limitation and that you can’t search for them if they’re number 301. OMG their stupidity never ceases to amaze me every single day. 😫

arielandaurora @trndyclssyfunky I don’t think it’s limiting the # brands you can list in your closet, it’s just limiting the # brands that appear in that particular drop down. Just like some of the other drop downs are limited to a handful of options. Could be Posh didn’t intend it that way. Could be one of the developers/coders just picked 300 as the # thinking no one would hit the limit. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I used to see silly things like that in my old job because my company designed and coded our own software.

arielandaurora @trndyclssyfunky The thing that used to drive me crazy the most was when we asked to add a value to a drop down or as an option on a screen and the developers would just add it to the bottom of the list. Not in alpha order or numerical order or some order that a logical person could follow. Just add it to the bottom. At least the brands on Posh are in alpha order! 🤣

trndyclssyfunky I got another email from the associate manager of customer relations regarding my issue with the filter/brand. She said shes so sorry that I’m having issues and that she has reported it to the development team. Now this is the same one I got two years ago when I’m still getting four emails a week saying we’re still looking into your issue we’re sorry we haven’t gotten back to you yet. I’m going to make a slide and add to my closet that basically says do not use the filter/brand as it’s broken

trndyclssyfunky Group question: if you list today, LMK if anyone shared your listings. I relisted 3 and listed 2 and got zero shares. Yesterday’s, only 2 of the 4 items I listed were shared. Wondering if they’ve changed the algorithm again?

mgm1933 @trndyclssyfunky I relisted 6 last night, all got shares, one item got 1 share, another 3 shares, another 5 shares, the rest 17-23 shares. This morning I relisted 6, all got shares, the sequin skit got the most shares 80+ it was the first thing I relisted, everything else got 5-40 shares. I have noticed that when I just list one regardless if it’s a new or a relist I don’t get any shares.

bigolewoman @and08189 @trndyclssyfunky @mgm1933 I listed 3 new tonight before the last party. They all got lots of shares. That silly Happy Meal Toy got the most with 45+shares. I listed it first, but it is Stitch so 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. The Bath & Body Works got 30+ I listed it second and the paper products got 16 I think. I am kind of new to this, but really pay attention to patterns. I have noticed that when (time of day) I list makes a big difference. Right before the parties seems to be fruitful.

bigolewoman Friday timing is weird, I still trying to figure it out. I also think they are doing AB testing, I have noticed my sales have been REALLY hot and cold the last few weeks and the not just the typical weekday vs. weekend.
