Limoges Celery Dish Early 1900's France Pink Floral with Gold Trim

In very good pre-owned condition - one chip, some wear on the gold trim, usual wear on the bottom, as noted in photos. Vintage Hand Painted Floral Dish still is beautiful! Dish measures 12”H x 6”W × 2” This lovely Limoges dish was manufactured around the turn of the 20th century by the Blakeman and Henderson company. Originally meant for serving celery (a Victorian favorite), this dish would be a beautiful way to serve crackers or crudités (Crudités include all types of vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, snap peas, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, green beans, endive, etc. It is ceramic and decorated with a design of pink flowers and ornate gold trim.
