Lilly Pulitzer Vintage white tag shift dress in pink elephant print size 8

This was my very first Lilly Pulitzer dress, purchased from the boutique shop in Charlottesville, VA nearly 20 years ago. I adore this print. The pink elephants dancing on the turquoise background is just SO LILLY. The fit is a typical Lilly shift with heavier cotton fabric. It has a V in the front and a hidden zipper up the back. It has tiny clips to hold your bra straps on the top of the shoulder and these are intact (see photos). It is a vintage size 8, so maybe more like a 6. I wore it maybe 6 times total in high school to church or Easter dinner with my family. It has been hanging in my moms closet ever since. It no longer fits. It is lined in white fabric and features the Lilly lace on the underside of the bottom hem of the dress. I had it freshly dry cleaned this weekend so it would be nice and crisply clean for you. The only signs of wear are some slight discoloration under each arm. They are small areas and would be covered by your arms but I did take close ups so you can see. I am a lifetime lover and collector of Lilly Pulitzer! I have a fairly large collection amassed over 20 years and am starting to go through it to pass things along that no longer fit or aren’t being worn. Keep checking back over the next several weeks as I add more! I value and appreciate my Lilly so always take extra good care of it by dry cleaning (silk and multilayered items) or for washable items, I wash each piece in individual lingerie bags on delicate cold and then lay flat to dry.
