fabthreads @annaconda It wasn't an easy thing to go thru, but two years later glad I did it. PT helped a lot - went for about a year. The ice machine that the insurance/doctor ordered for me to use at home for the first few weeks was the best thing ever. Tag me when you're about to go in, and I will share your closet as you may not be up to it.

annaconda @fabthreads great I appreciate that..at 57 years old it seems everything is breaking down..I will make sure I get the ice machine and I just went through 3 months of PT for my foot surgery so they all know I'm coming back!

amoc2001 @annaconda Im actually a surgeon (go figure, right!) - what did they give you for pain and post op instructions? Did they tell you to expect this kind of discomfort?

annaconda @amoc2001 hydracodine he ended up repairing a tear in my bicep tendons also which must have happened after my MRI I don't like taking too much pain so I'm supplemented it with Advil which they suggested

amoc2001 omgosh you poor thing. Yes, I figured they must have given you some codeine for that level of pain - have you tried taking one of those pills followed by Advil in between? If they did not suggest that I would check with them first but often I put patients on a regimen of hydrocodone every 6 hours then 800 mg Advil the next 6 hours then hydrocodone then next time, etc. But please check with your doctor. This is NOT to be taken as medical advice!!!!!

eggl16 My hubs had a huge knee surgery a few years ago and looked like this for awhile-I remember the pain and discomfort he had and being insanely bored! I think you should totally show off that scar! Shows how tough and powerful you are 💜 hope you're feeling better by now!

earwenes I hope you feel better. I had a spinal fusion and recovery was awful. I've always heard shoulders are way worse. I'm new to Posh but will share your closet too. I hope you are recovering well and not overdoing it. Nobody dies because they had to wait a few days longer for a dress. It isn't like they are walking around naked waiting so take care of you!
