lele54 How does this coat compare in size to the grey one... same measurements? This is a very unique looking coat.

corikeef @lele54 just put some measurements in pics & put the gray coat on top for comparison. This creme coat is definitely a longer and looser fit. The tag says small but I bought it in a boutique so it definitely fits more like a medium. It’s a really pretty coat, I just don’t wear it very often.

lele54 @corikeef thank you for all of the extra photos and info! would it be possible to also get the sleeve length measurement as well? Does the collar permanently stand, or can it be made to lay flat? Would you say the color is a true ivory/off-white, or does it have a yellow cast to it?

corikeef @lele54 sure! The sleeve on this one is a little tricky to measure lying flat since there isn’t a seam where the shoulder starts but when I put it on it’s 25.5in from shoulder to cuff. So about an inch longer than the gray one. It’s a true creme to me, the lining inside does look like a very slight yellow hue, but the coat itself does not look yellow.

lele54 @corikeef I'm thinking that this cream one is a bit too big for me. The gray one as well, but not as much. I am typically a size 6, but depending on the jacket/coat, I sometimes like them a a little bigger.

corikeef @lele54 I also added a close up pic of the color stitching, it will definitely go flatter with some steaming but if you look close at the stitching it’s kind of designed to be sort of “fluffed & bunchy”.

corikeef @lele54 yes, I think this would be too big on you then. I’m a size 8 and the gray one is more fitted on me, so if you like a little looser fit it would work, but always hard to know without trying on.

lele54 @corikeef yes, I agree. I think I could get by with the gray one. A 24-inch sleeve is typically the longest I can go without looking like I'm drowning LOL A 24" falls right at my knuckles.
