“In 1934, we introduced the first five-pocket jean especially built for women: the 701®. Made famous by the premiere American fashion magazine of its time, the 701® had a distinctly high-waisted, more curved fit. Today, we reproduced this glossy magazine-approved fit stitch-for-stitch using premium (pink line!) selvedge denim. I washed and wore these a lot in grad school but not a huge fan of the fit nowadays. I wore them cuffed all the time (to about a 29" length) but if you steam the hem you can wear it at the full 34" length. Great selvedge jeans, and they're pretty lightweight, too.
