No chips. Overall and very nice shape. Both work just fine. The top of the salt shaker does show some signs of where or age. This could be wire brush and refinished, but its not glaring. These are very nice statement pieces beautiful for an upcoming holiday table scape. These measure approximately 6 to 6.5 inches tall. The Peppermill is slightly taller due to the handle. The diameter of the bottom is approximately 2.75 inches.
