Leather Trench Coat

This long leather trench coat from 1970s is a rich red-brown color. You can see the effect of light and shadow on the color in the photos as a beam of sunlight shines in.  This coat fits beautifully: the intricate seaming details offer a flattering silhouette (the curved deco-style stitching and seaming on the back is particularly striking) and the A-line from waist to hem gives some swing to the piece. The coat buttons up the front, with its original variegated burgundy and cream buttons.
