Leather Bound Brontë Works Collection Charlotte Bronte Jane Eyre Antique 1887

Antique set of Brontë’s Works (all are by Charlotte Brontë). I believe these came from a 7 volume set that included Emily and Anne’s works. Jane Eyre has the most wear (as expected) so please read disclaimers. The other three volumes are similar in condition. It’s an overall very fine set!! Measure 8x5.5 Jane Eyre (Vol I) Dated 1887, Smith, Elder & Co, London. A fine copy that is solid with the following disclaimers; front cover has been reinforced at some point but is solid and holding. The first illustrated page is loose and title page is partially loose but still attached. Lots of pencil notes on the first few blank pages with notes and page markings. Can be erased but also interesting to read through. Minor bumping to corners and cracking to spine. Binding is tight otherwise and everything is holding together well. Quarter leather purple binding with marbled endpapers, gilt top fore edges, raised banded spines (sun faded) and gilded lettering. Illustrations are scattered throughout each book.
