Lava & Obsidian Bead Bracelet

This masculine handmade bracelet is composed of brick-red Lava and Gold Sheen Obsidian (both of which are byproducts of volcanic eruptions) with an intricately detailed snake clasp. Lava beads are porous, therefore some people use them to hold fragrances or essential oils. However, it is not recommended to heavily moisten the beads as it can cause color degradation. Gold Sheen Obsidian has a shimmering glow when exposed at different light angles. Obsidian is a glass formed by the extreme heat of volcanoes. Trapped impurities of gas and iron in the magma create the chatoyancy. The spacer beads are Pyrite, aka “Fool’s Gold” and play nice with other gold or silver accessories. The toggle clasp is not just ornamental; it is easier to connect and remove without assistance. Toggles are also proven to be more secure than the standard lobster clasp.
