Late 50s/ Early 60s Empress Patent Leather Handbag

Year: Late 50s/ Early 60s Style: This Empress shoulder bag has wide single strap that unsnaps on one side. There is a flap over the top that closes with a large, gold tone metal oval, turn key latch. Inside is like an accordion with 3 main compartments. The first compartment is separated with an attached wallet that has a metal zipper closure. The middle compartment has an interior wall pocket and a metal key ring that is attached to the interior wall. The third compartment has a larger interior wall pocket. Inside that pocket is a removeable change purse that closes with a metal zipper. The interior is lined with red vinyl material that has the 'Empress' logo on it. Colour: Navy & gold Exterior: Navy faux patent leather & gold tone metal Note purse is used but in great condition considering its 70 years old.
