Last Rights Cross

This is a vintage cross which is used for last rites in the Christian religion. The cross opens to include two candles and a vile for holy water. Note that when hanging the interior contents are hidden. This cross has never been used for last rights as the candles are new. This is a lovely gift for someone who appreciates antique crosses and unique crosses. These types of crosses were fairly common in rural areas of the USA in the 1930’s to 1960’s.
