Larimar Locket Sterling Ring

Incredibly interesting locket or poison ring. Gorgeous larimar gemstone set in .925 sterling silver. Size 6. New. Poison rings originated in ancient India and the Far East. They were used for both benign and sinister purposes. In ancient Rome, they were used for suicide. During the Middle Ages, they were used to store relics of saints. During the Renaissance, they were used to store cologne, hair, and portraits. After the execution of Charles I, they became fashionable with images of the king or his initials.  Review all photos thoroughly as they are considered a part of the detailed item description.
