Ocean Jasper, also known as Orbicular Jasper or Cellular Jasper, is a very rare variety of Jasper, a silicon dioxide mineral, and a member of the Quartz family. Its defined by circular “orb” like patterns Jasper is known as the “supreme nurturer”. It sustains and supports through times of stress, and brings tranquility and wholeness. Jasper provides protection and absorbs negative energy. It balances yin and yang. Also called Orbicular Jasper due to the orbs of various minerals encased in the stone, this particular stone and others I am selling each have the "fish eye" formation that is very rare in Ocean Jasper.
