☀️Large Unakite Gemstone☀️ I’m a self proclaimed rockhound & I found this big Unakite stone on the beach of Lake Michigan. approx 2” x 2” Green, olive green, pink tints, and an orangey-red colour are the most prevalent hues found in unakite stones. Unakite is a pink and green metamorphic rock made up of colourless to milky quartz, green epidote, and pink orthoclase. These crystals can be tumbled to a beautiful Shine. I have taken pictures dry & wet with water. An option of spraying with clear spray paint is a wonderful idea. I did not spray in case someone wanted to tumble!
