Gorgeous Large Russian Russia solid Sterling Silver 925 (stamped "925" with maker's initial TH) Custom Made Niello Kubachi Pin Brooch. This unique Niello Brooch Pin was custom made in Kubachi (Russia), where the cacophony of hammered silver reverberates through the sole school of this tiny region of Dagestan (Russia). Villagers in Kubachi boast that every man, woman and child has mastered the ancient tradition of delicate silverwork, first brought to the region by Persian traders almost two millennia ago. This beautiful Brooch is about 2 5/16" by about 1 1/16" in its widest. It weighs about 12.7 grams and is in great pre-owned condition.
