The fabric is textured (see photos) with a bright red background and purple, hot pink and green design It also has a striped border The scarf is a very large square 41.5" x 43" which allows it to be worn many ways I'm not positive of the fabric, but believe it to be silk or a silk blend Rolled edges There is one snag (last photo) No other noted flaws Smoke-free
