Large Antique Signed ABG China Doll Head

This is “Girl with a Curl in the Middle of Her Forehead,” a rare antique china doll head signed by ABG (Alt, Beck, & Gottschalck) from mold number 890xx8 (#12). She’s 5” tall and was made circa 1880. She has all the trademark ABG flourishes, such as big blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and rosebud lips. Brunette hair with lots of curls. Several rubs on the hair in front and back. Right eyebrow has a tiny bit of paint off. Sone kiln dust on chin, above right eyebrow and some rubs on nose. Will be packed very carefully for shipping.
