It’s incredibly difficult to photograph black clothes well; this coat is like 50x lovelier irl. It has some really beautiful details- it is a brocade type wool for the bodice, and is lined in satin. It has pleats in the back and they even pleated the lining on the inside. This cost is has been made with the kind of craftsmanship that you just don’t see in modern clothes. It’s from 2006 and was made in France. Original retail price was probably $2,900.
