pmressa I know you’re not asking much on this for sure but shipping is kind of high at $8.00. It’s priced at the highest shipping. Just wondering. A small light weight cotton tank in a plastic bag is like $5.00. I have shipped siminiar.

While I understand your frustration and totally agree that this light weight item alone might ship for less, Poshmark sets the flat shipping costs. Any reduction I am able to give comes straight out of what I make on the item which at this price point is less than $2. Your best bet is to find more than one item you like to maximize on shipping.

pmressa I have a few things listed too. You can choose the shipping from two or three choices I thought. Isn’t it like $4.00, $5.00 or $7.00?

robinpoppintags @pmressa In my experience, you can choose but anything less than $7.95 comes out of your part of the sale. I instead chose to reduce the item price rather than a shipping discount. If you know of another way I’ll be glad to explore that option if you have any details you can share!

pmressa Not sure how.it doesnt for me. Their calculator tells you exactly you how much you will earn after you select the shipping cost so you know. Their shouldn’t be any surprises. I’m frankly not sure why they offer three choices. Guess maybe some people want the option of shipping priority mail and not cheapest way. They get a free box. Not sure why that is exactly. In my opinion if you want more money just ask more money for the item. Thanks.

robinpoppintags @pmressa Look, I’ve been doing this for awhile. It does clearly state how much you will make on each item. Go offer a shipping discount and watch how the amount you make goes down. If it doesn’t PLEASE educate us on exactly how you were able to pull that off. I earn ZERO dollars off of the shipping. Shipping discounts cost sellers money. And that’s fine. But don’t accuse me of trying to inflate profit by using shipping costs because that is impossible with Poshmark!

robinpoppintags @pmressa The only time a shipping discount doesn’t cost the seller money is when Poshmark runs an occasional promo when you mark your items down they reduce shipping temporarily on them.

pmressa I know it comes out of your funds. They have a calculator that shows exactly how much you make after you add in the shipping.
