chunglee2 @kimmmml these are inseam pics. The top of the ruler starts at the crotch center, between the two pant legs. It looks like 27 1/4 not quite 27.5

chunglee2 @kimmmml the pants are cropped pants. I'm not a seamstress and am not sure about loosening hems. I'm shorter height and these pants look like normal length pants on me. A taller height might give a different look. See picture I added.
