ghillie27822 I like the yellow dial, but there's a couple of problems with pulling a Franken-Fossil with my orange band: the lugs (and therefore the links) face in opposite directions. Initially, I thought it would be possible to disassemble all the links on both watches and reassemble using a clear to orange every other link pattern. I'd lose the first link on both sides of the orange band b/c they're tapered.

ghillie27822 I thought that would be pretty cool except mine is a men's watch with a 22mm band. The clear watch, according to the model number, is a women's watch with 18mm band. Thoughts?

right_on_time @ghillie27822 Dissecting what you got might not work out so well as you gotta figure the band is probably more brittle than it might look. I would just have a plan B, that's all.

ghillie27822 @right_on_time As much as I love that yellow face, I'm going to pass. Have spent the last 2 days waffling back and forth over it. Ultimately, if buy it, I'm setting myself up for the same problems I have with the orange one. Really don't want TWO watch faces I love but can't use.

right_on_time Well that's kind of a negative outlook. How long & how often have you enjoyed the orange one? I would expect to get the same, if not more out the same type watch knowing what you know now.No worries.
