La Perla “Clematis” Nude Sequin Swimsuit NWT Size 8

Real Talk: Infuriatingly, I bought this swimsuit YEARS ago and just never got around to wearing it. The color doesn’t flatter me. I kept holding onto it because it was so expensive — one of the first truly nice splurges I treated myself to after I got my first real job — but I’m tired of feeling guilty for never wearing it any time I root through my swimsuits. It is gorgeous — a nude peachy pale pink color with beautifully delicate grey sequins and embroidery forming a border along the top of the bust. It features an underwire but the cups are not padded. It has the original La Perla tags and even (kind of) the original sanitary plastic liner thing in the crotch area. Note: as you can see in the photo, it’s curling up at the edges. I thought about removing it to improve the aesthetics but what the hell, you can rip it off as soon as it’s yours. Clearly, heartbreakingly, I’ve never worn it. It appears to still be in mint condition to my eyes. It’s just been in my swimsuit drawer for years, so bear in mind that this is not off the rack straight into your hands! (I certainly notice no significant damage! But I guess who knows what happens in a closed swimsuit drawer?) Obviously you could also wear this as lingerie. It’s a really smooth delicate Lycra fabric. I hate that I never got to show it off.
