LOUIS VUITTON Brogue’s in Cocoa Nubuck and Moss Suede US men’s SZ 9

Here is a great pair of Brogue’s by the craftsmen at LOUIS VUITTON. They have very little heel wear because they were not worn very many times. The story is actually quite humorous. The first day I got them in NY, I decided to wear them for the day. Soon after, we had lunch at NELLO’S and I ordered my favorite Carciofi Salad. I had my legs crossed and my foot must have been sticking out too far, because the next thing I knew…PLOP…a baby artichoke fell off the salad plate the waiter was placing on our table and landed right on top of my new Louis! OMG! The poor waiter. I didn’t want him to get in any trouble. I just said shh shh and winked. When I left, I went back to LV to try to have the stain removed and they did a pretty good job, but the nap of the suede looks a bit off to me. It’s identified by a red arrow in one of the photos. You can’t really notice it unless you stare at it, but it’s there. Other than that, they are pretty much like new. The suede is a gorgeous color of moss and the leather is like fine Swiss Chocolate. They really are smart. I have priced them fairly to accommodate for the salad-stain even though it is not very evident.
