Great tips! Also look at stitching! Authentic LV will never have messy stitching. If its a neverfull or other popular style for sale for $200 it's not real. C'mon: the resale value on authentic LV is high. People will not give away their beautiful real LV. Definitely do your research! Xoxo!

@jesd14 Yes absolutely! I was searching LV's yesterday and there was one that was a LV Neverfull listed at $750 and so many people wanted it. It was an OBVIOUS fake. Makes me sick that someone might get scammed so I had to do this. It's one thing to sell an inspired bag saying that it is, but quite another to sell one at retail price!! I even see inspired bags for over $250!! They are worth ZERO!! I learned my lesson. I guess if you have to try and get something back for $100, but no more than that!!

Exactly! I just saw a listing for a neverfull mm for $200. The stitching was a MESS and bright yellow. A girl was asking if it was authentic and if so, she'd buy it. Come on!!!! An authentic neverfull for $200? In what world? And the pics were screaming "Not Real!!!"
I feel bad but some people are just so uneducated. If you don't know, you need to ask and research! There are so many people on here who are willing to look and offer opinions. Totally worth finding sellers/buyers who know their stuff! Love this post more than I can even say- such a great (and important) message!

Oh I forgot to mention that they sell it with a date code, heat stamp, box, dust bag, lock and key, LV authenticity card AND A RECEIPT FROM AN LV STORE! I didn't even know that even happened about the receipt part until I read it today!!

@krishosman Oh geez!! You know if people want to buy or sell a fake whom am I to judge? That's fine, but don't sell it as an authentic and lie to people!! Got in a fight with some Poshers about this. Someone asked me to look at a bag they were considering buying and it looked fake to me. The. One of the sellers friends found out and they ganged up on me. It was only my opinion. Have to be so careful on here now. I'm jus gonna save up and got the the LV store myself. That will be the only way I will know for sure! I don't trust anyone on here when it come to expensive items.

Thank you all for these comments so glad I've not been suckered in yet. Think I'm just gonna take a trip to Chicago and go to the store. Saving a lil but of money isn't worth worrying about getting ripped off. And to add to someone's comment- I came a crossed a site that was called LV outlet, omg they could really get someone with no knowledge. It really made me mad!! They claim box,bag, receipt and authentic card with bag and they are priced way to low to be real!!! Thanks for the info I've been obsessed and time to just take a trip!!:) and I really thought people weren't allowed to seek fake bags!???
