LORENA SARBU Black Chiffon Formal Gown with Cap Sleeves V-Neck & Back SZ 0/2 XS

Lorena Sarbu was a Romanian designer who specialized in awe-inspiring, bejeweled collections of glittery gowns and body-conscious cocktail dresses. She garnered a prestigious following in Hollywood, and her couture designs were often seen on the red carpet. This lovely black silk chiffon evening gown from Romanian designer Lorena Sarbu has densely gathered cap sleeves that can also be worn as sholder straps. The transitions from the dress to the sleeves is highlighted by double rows of large prong-set black and smokey rhinestones. The dress has an empire waist with wide waistband immediately below the bust from which the long chiffon skirt hangs gracefully. The bust and waistband are thickly lined in black silk, and the skirt is lined with a lightweight black silk. The only label associated with the dress is the paper hang tag that does not have a size on it. It's not possible to get an accurate chest measurement, but the waist indicates the dress is a size 2, and would probably work for a size 0 too. MEASUREMENTS - The measurement of both the top and bottom of the raised waistband is 26" - Hips are free. - Length from underarm to bottom of skirt is about 59" CONDITION This dress is in excellent condition. Very subtle signs of wear are only from its use as a sample dress.
