The La Sardina - 'Virginia is for Lovers' was launched in February 2012 by Lomography, in collaboration with the US state of Virginia. The limited edition is wrapped in classic red, black and white. On this Special Edition La Sardina, hearts, a mouth and the tourism slogan, 'Virginia is for Lovers', of Virginia are printed on the plastic case. The La Sardina's 22mm plastic lens has a fixed aperture of f8 and is a super wide angle lens. The switch on the top of the snapshot camera allows for easy multiple exposures. Long exposures are possible with the Bulb mode. The camera also has a port for a remote shutter release and for a tripod. With this consists La Sardina is available with and without flash.
