LOIS HILL Sterling Silver Wheat Link Necklace Granulation + Matching Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings Beautiful set! The necklace is by Lois Hill and the matching dangle earrings are not by Lois Hill (they could be but I didn’t see a hallmark) but are a wonderful match. The set was only worn once with a black velvet dress. Lots of detail and very pretty! The woven wheat link necklace (about 1/8” wide) measures about 16” long with a 2.5” extender made of large jump rings. There’s a sterling silver ornate toggle bar that you connect at different lengths. The necklace is hallmarked on the back of the medallion with LOIS HILL INDONESIA and .925 (for sterling silver). The necklace weighs 44 grams on our scale. Not sure of the exact symbolism of the circular medallion but it’s sort of like fancy fern or tree of life. It features the classic Lois Hill scroll work and granulated beads with an oxidized or blackened background. The earrings are for pierced ears. They also feature the granulation of small silver spheres and swirl design. Each earring is hallmarked near the shepherd’s hook with .925. The earrings weigh 10 grams on our scale.
