This is a *rare* LOIS HILL pendant necklace with a hand wrought design on both the front and back. The pendant is a flat, 1.25"-long oblong octagon shape with a smooth border and outer edge and Hill's signature swirl design in two silverwork techniques—a carved swirl running down the center, surrounded by tiny granulated swirls with black oxidized background. No, the design is not cut through; it's a solid beauty with more to it than meets the eye.
It's classic Lois Hill all the way, front, back, and to the end of the chain, which is finished with a granulated twist toggle closure. It's an 18.5" snake chain.
Condition: EUC, Excellent Used Condition
Looks like new to the "naked eye." Under magnification, tiny scratches may show on the outside edges or where the silver is smooth, due to normal wear. But mostly the raised and fused nature of Lois Hill's designs performs like armor and protects. + It polishes to a high-gloss shine as only STERLING SILVER can.
There are no Lois Hill or silver markings on this necklace — common on her "vintage" pieces w/ no smooth inside or backside surface on which to put stamps. Now she adds a separate tag w/ markings. But authenticity IS money-back guaranteed.

@swanagin Nice to have you back! 🤩 I love getting positive feedback on my listings (rather than people explaining to me how I’m doing it wrong and wasting time and cannot possibly make a profit comparable to the amount of time I invest in my photos and stories). I dig me a literate, design-appreciating Posher like you. 😉

@materialspirit You’re an artist and therefore you appreciate the art of design. Everyone knows (or should know) that without the history of design, then the societal impacts are in danger of being lost! Imagine a world where the impact of the Armory Exhibit isn’t taught! Scary! Your narratives offer the same insight & impacts, written in a voice that is as entertaining as it is important! That’s why I’ve always loved your “closet!” So please - ignore the ignorant!
