Hi! I have a favor you ask.. so I have Loft in my city & have bought in-store and online for YEARS but I realized loft has legitimately started shortening all of their tops! First it was subtle (no more tunics) and suddenly my classic pieces like the mixed media tops and all the 100% poly shells (which I collect candy) are now TRAGICALLY 2-3 inches shorter! I may sound insane, sure...

But I have a 9-5 job at a law firm and not only am I 5’10.5 but I’m also 34/36b chested so I’m tall and flat. Loft was the ONLY store I was able to find appropriate tops for tall my frame and for work! Truly anywhere else’s items (online and in-store) are either too frumpy, dated, have way too much extra fabric losing any shape or have a million ruffles, etc. so I fell in love with loft‘s lengths and fabrics, also the consistency and reliability made me swoon.

OK so after this devastating change (and a full petite line full of shorter tops but still not a single blouse or tee in the tall category...) I realized I’m in trouble (and thankfully not alone as almost every reviewer noticed the boxy cropped change and how ugly it all is), but yes in trouble.. OK enough rambling! So when I found loft outlet online I was relieved to see the average shells in appropriate lengths as well mixed media’s, etc!

My cart is currently at 38 (all tops) but no outlet in my city to try on so I googled and after reading countless mixed reviews I’m more confused! Some say loft outlet runs one size larger in everything (compared to loft), several say it’s the same and a few say the necks are too low and armholes too big (which is a tiny issue with loft but was ok because the lengths were great). SO if you have shopped at the outlet I’m curious what you’d say about sizing vs. loft

If you haven’t it’s ok, Outlet has the same sleeveless swingy v neck mixed media in countless patterns/colors so naturally I want/need all of them. I noticed yours is from loft & not outlet so again, maybe this won’t matter but if you can would you please PLEASE maybe post a photo of you wearing it? I know I’m asking a lot, I just miss having A PLACE to shop at for work clothes and NOW that’s no where thanks to loft:(

Regardless I love your polka dot mixed media but would love a model for reference because I’m medium/large at loft (due to height) but my flat chest can create uncertainty with their armhole circumferences. I usually buy size large in mixed media’s and need to know if the outlet size large will work or be too big! Also love your top, will make an offer because it could be cute tucked in. Hopefully you can help this poor girl! Thanks dear

Hi dear! Sorry to bother you, I know I left a short story so my apologies, I only want to convey my love for this brand. I genuinely can’t find the same consistency in length, cut and fabrics, so as I mentioned yesterday I’m just heartbroken over the new tops (shorter lengths, weird boxy cropped, etc) so when I found loft outlet (online) carrying more traditional loft classics (longer lengths, more fitted etc) I was happy.

So if you have any advice about loft outlet sizing vs. the regular loft I’ll be forever grateful! I also wouldn’t normally ask a stranger but this polka dot mixed media = the exact same style on their website and it happens to be my fav, so if you don’t mind posting a model wearing it that’d be THE best, if not I totally get it no worries, just hope you have some insight on this and sizing! Thanks so much !
