L.L. Bean Men’s Two-Layer Henley - S

I bought this second-hand thinking I could make it work for me (I'm a size small woman) but the shoulder and arms are definitely cut for a guy. I think this might actually be the current River Driver's Shirt LL Bean has on their site? It's hard to tell if this is vintage or not since Bean's been offering this exceptional style for 30 years! In any case, the fit through the body is quite slim; the size chart says Small fits a 34-35 chest and I would say this is the case but even then it's going to hug the body a bit, which is perfect if you use this style to layer under a shacket. Condition is excellent- I've carefully laundered it but I would say it's not been previously worn (I photographed the sleeve cuff because this is the first place you'd see piling and there's none). Outer layer is 50% cotton/40% merino wool/10% nylon. Inside layer is made of soft, absorbent cotton. As a duofold construction (the cotton and wool are knitted together), it will shrink in the dryer. Woven just for us in Canada by Stanfield’s, a 160-year-old family company. Machine wash, dry flat. Made in Canada.
