kccanning I’m seriously considering this bag but since I don’t know how to repair the torn closures I would need to pay someone to fix it. Because of the additional cost, my offer reflects that. Just wanted to let you know.

erika_ch @kccanning I’m sorry, I had quite a few comments over the past few days and missed this! The loose velcro closure only affects the exterior slip pocket. Personally, I used that pocket for quick access to essentials like keys or my phone and rarely closed it. I have replaced the loose piece with Velcro used on clothing (found at craft stores.) It closes, but is not as “strong” as the others on the bag. I can upload photos in the AM if you are still interested and want to send an offer.

kccanning @erika_ch thank you so much for your reply! I need the bag for a trip we will be taking and have been warned about pickpockets so that is why I’m so concerned about the closures. I won’t need the bag beyond this trip (fortunately I don’t need to worry about thieves in my everyday life) so I also don’t want to spend a great deal on any bag I’ll need for this trip. That’s also why my bid is so low.

erika_ch @kccanning Understand! The outside slip pocket, even with the velcro tab fully secured, could still be easily accessed because of the size of the pocket and location on the bag. I would recommend only using the inside pockets with the front flap closed and facing towards you.
