marsalee Hi, does this have a drawstring pull at the bottom to keep snow from getting in? Also would you mind measuring the chest width and full length of this one and the size 8? My son is 7 and not sure which would be a better fit

ahp8 @marsalee hi, the 6x/7 is 21 inches long and chest is 16 1/2 inches wide. The size 8 is 22-23 inches long and 17 wide. I took overlap pictures comparing them, but I am unable to load them to this chat.

ahp8 @marsalee yes it is a ll bean snow jacket. I believe they discontinued this model. My kids wore this style coat for years in the snow along with the ll bean snow bib overalls.
