After an accident at the school where I was teaching 4th grade, I now live with a rare condition called RSD or CRPS, along with several other co-morbid chronic pain conditions. You can read about my chronic pain journey that was published in the INvisible Project magazine in 2015. A lot has changed in the last 10 years, some good and some not so good, but I’m resilient and have found my passion working with others living with chronic pain. I’m currently the Patient Engagement Lead at the U.S. Pain Foundation and also a peer-to-peer chronic pain support group leader.
