mncraftgirl @desi2kayla Yes, it is similar to the FXR jackets made for winter with water proof OR water resistant and reflective material. It is not as warm as a down or puffer jacket though. I would say it's thickness and warmth is in between light jacket and puffer or goose down jacket. If it gets really cold they should wear a sweatshirt or layer underneath.
