twinklerocket @sheaux it was a cool tank top from Anthro. I used the pic from their website as my cover shot, then one pic of me wearing it. It was rather unique and caught the eye of one of the hostesses when I shared it to a party. A gazillion poshers shared the item, I gained a ton of followers, and the activity slowed down again when the item sold. Get a unique wardrobe item and have a great photo. That's all I know.

treasuresbymary When I first started, I read someone's post that said that generally when you get about 1500 followers, that's when the sales start to happen. Well, guess what?....I got to approximately 1500 followers and I sold!! I dont know if that was coincidence, but what have you got to lose? Try it, you don't have far to go, actually!

jneria You already look like you're well on your way to success darlin'! I'd recommend the same things some of my fellow Poshers have already: Most important is to follow all Posh rules. What catapulted me was being selected to be a Suggested User, and I can tell you that the great people at Posh do not pick SU's that sell unsupported items, replicas, spam, or use Paypal (the biggest no-no in my book!) Another great place to go for advice is the Posh Etiquette Section. You'll start to notice that the people who ignore these suggestions (like people who ask "Interested???" when someone simply likes one of their listings) tend to not have many followers. The last few things I'd recommend is to continue to take thoughtful and clear covershots of your items, always be very clear and forthcoming in your item descriptions, and network with shares and compliments to closets you love. A nice comment on an item you find to be fabulous (even if you don't intend to buy) can go a long way! And always, ALWAYS be kind and considerate. I have developed some great relationships with the most generous and wonderful ladies on this app who all support each other and look out for one another, which has made a big difference for me and it is all a result of just being nice! Good luck in your future endeavors, you have great taste so I'm sure you'll be very successful here in Posh! Much Posh love! 💕

closet_finds Your closet looks beautiful and thanks for the shares. I havent found the apps to add all the bling to my listings, but sooner r later I will get there, some closets are so over whelming with the writing and the stars and multiple pictures, but yours is just enough, I had no problem determining what was for sale! Keep up the good work!!!!!

sassygirl63 @mandaaxo Hi! I just share my listings to the parties and share other peoples during the party as well so they share mine back. That gives you more chances for the host to see your listings and they pick yours as their Host Pick! :) And of course sharing is caring! :)

twinklerocket @mandaaxo I've only had one and I was not trying very hard! It was just a cool top from Anthropologie. It seems like mostly unique items are selected. Also make sure your photo is eye catching. Some poshers tag the hosts in items they want selected but I have not had good luck with that. But look at my closet, it's full of basics, not a lot of crazy trendy stuff.

If you are n your closet, at top left there's an arrow that takes you to the page with lots of things (purchases, sales, balances, posh support, etc.) at the VERY top of that list IS 2 very informative articles....I'd highly suggest reading both of those. About midway to little lower (at the moment) in my Closet are a few info & tips listings for new Poshers. I hv a "Messages" listing, my "inbox" since we don't hv those. If you need help with anything you can tag me from that listing or from any of the tip listings & I don't mind helping at all. I have been on here for a good year and half probably, but I have been MIA for the last four months because I had started up an online boutique, going to school full time, and working a full time job, and having a little boy not last February but the February before, so I kind of disappeared for awhile! haha I had to close my online boutique because of not having any time, so I selling again on here! haha

susu49 Wonderful closet! Looks like you and I are about the same in followers! Sales have been slow for me! Looking for ways to be more successful in this business! I follow Posh rules, share, participate in almost all parties but still need to know the "secret" to making money with Posh!
