Before wearing your Halo extensions for the first time we suggest you give them a little preparation. The Halo's have been pre straightened and that can make them look much thinner than they actually are. Wet the extensions and dry them with a blow dryer or let them air dry overnight. Wetting your Halo before you wear it will allow it to almost double in volume. You can also take the extensions to your salon and have them trim it or thin it out to better match your natural hair. FIRST ... To make sure your halo hair extensions blend beautifully and look as natural as possible. Start by pulling the top section of your hair into a top knot, leaving two inch-wide sections out at the front of your face. THEN ... Place the halo on your head with the wire about an inch back from your forehead and push the back of the weft down so it sits firmly below your occipital bone. (This is the small bump you can feel at the back of your head.) FINALLY ... Take your top knot down so the top section of your hair covers the halo and, using a rat-tail comb, pull pieces of hair over the halo and wire until it’s completely covered.
