Numbered BD 1993 limited edition from Maestro Alberto Santangela. It’s first in the series of Le Porte Del Ghiberti. No chips, no cracks. In excellent condition. Some slight wear noted on bottom of round rear brass plate. 8.5” diameter. This is a fabulous resin reproduction. SFPF. Translated from back plate: Faithfully reproduced by hand from the northern doors of the baptistery of Florence originally executed by Lorenzo Ghiberti in 1424. Cast and finished by hand in Tuscany in alabaster ivory and produced under the hallmark of the studio Dante di Volteradici and under the auspices of the Museo del Duomo Firenze.
