Rotate the handle left or right and lift up. Add 3 measuring spoons of salt in the steamer. Add 1 full meauring cup of tap water into the steamer. Close the handle and connect the plug to the steamer. Steam will come out in 10-20 seconds. You will get steam for 8-10 minutes. When the steam stops and you want to continue to use, wait 2-3 minutes for steamer to cool and add 2/3 measuring cup of tap water into the steamer. Additional salt is not needed with every refill. After use, disconnect the power cord from the travel steamer. Open the steamer and tilt the steamer to the side to remove the remaining water.
