LARGE Teddy Bear Hugs Storage Tin Vintage Marjorie Sarnat

Sorry about my photography skills! This item looks much better in person than the photos show, and I failed to take a sufficient number of photos as well. Since I already placed this item into a storage tub and into my outdoor metal container storage inventory system, I am going to sell it at a discount rather than bring it back inside to make more photos -- you benefit! This is one of the LARGE Marjorie Sarnot vintage tins. It has litho pictures of bears hugging surrounding the tin. It states, "This Bears My Hug to You." It is in great condition for its age. Very little in the way of scuff marks (I see some around the corners on the top of the lid). The lid fits tightly, as it should, and the tin is pretty heavy gauge so it is sturdy. It measures just under 10" in diameter and stands about 7 1/4" tall. ***Before purchasing another similar tin, make sure you check the size and compare!!! Most OTHERS are MUCH smaller, and they measure only about 7" in diameter and several inches shorter!!! *** Thus, the others can store way less than half what this one can. Made in 1984. Great for storing such things as sewing materials, odds and ends, hairpins and bows, child toys, etc. and would display well as a kitchen container, in a den, or in a bedroom.
