As visible in pictures these functional touches are two identical front and back center of the bag. These go the entire vertical length of the bag, down and into the bottom. Aesthetically these give a cinching or ruching look on the outside. Internally these allow you to adjust the bags length and just how cinched you desire the bag to look and or need. These features alike the entire bag are in the same great quality and shape that this bag was when I purchased it brand new at Juicy Couture Store , Fashion Island CA in the early 2000's. Being it was used twice and alike all my belongings, stored excellently on its shelf. Wherever you pull the fabric to sit along these internal pieces for function and appearance, it will stay until you adjust it again.Regardless of weight or shape of the contents you carry inside.
