LANVIN 37.5 vintage black suede slip on flats bow leather 1980s retro designer

Vintage black suede slip on shoes with a bow vamp detail. I'm not 100% sure on exact dating for these. Jeanne Lanvin started using this branding graphic with labels in the mid 1950s, however best I can tell it was not until the 1960s that the "Jeanne" was starting to be left off the labels for apparel, and there is even less info available with shoes. Comparing the font to clothing labels from that decade, and considering the style, my estimation would be early 1980s. Structurally these are sound, soles have some nicks and dings but there is life left, a well made pair that will last a while yet to bring some charm to your unique style. As shown, there is some rub to the suede on the heel, and also some fray to the ends of the ribbons (I have not made an attempt to trim the ribbon to neaten those up). Labeled a European size 37.5, these convert to a US 6.5 according to the international size conversion chart.
