martink3950 @jazzbaby39 Hi, I just pulled these and checked them very carefully. There are no stains anywhere. The material is in excellent condition. I think it must be a wrinkle in the material. I took that photo just to show the pattern better.

jazzbaby39 Vastly different from broadcloth! Not appropriate for summer. They are cotton flannel pajama-like material. Perfect for autumn, perhaps in New England. Not for either the half sub-tropical or half freezing climate where I live. That question was important to me. I was expecting broadcloth. I will not wear this brushed cotton flannel fabric, and would like to return the item.
