newandvintage65 @melotte I actually met Kobe when he was very young probably 17 or 18 just before he went into the NBA @ an airport . I had recognized him & well my aunt wasn’t very nice & I wanted to meet him but she only let my brother meet him & I ended up crying...he came over to me and invite me to sit next to him & he held my hand & tried to comfort me.

newandvintage65 @melotte part 2: He hugged me & wrapped his arm around me. Told me not to listen to my aunt that I was not a bother & he was happy to be recognized. He let me sit w/ him till he boarded his plane! One of the sweetest men I’ve met! He was a class act, gentle, caring & very down to earth. ❤️ great memories
